Murder in North Hollywood Body of Man Discovered in Car Sparks Police Investigation

Following the discovery of a man deceased in his car with several gunshot wounds, detectives are seeking assistance in a homicide investigation in North Hollywood.

Around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, patrol officers were called by the LAPD to respond to a radio report of a “Ambulance Shooting man down” in the 11900 block of Chandler Boulevard.

A guy who was pronounced deceased at the site was discovered by first responders in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. He was thought to be between the ages of 40 and 45.

According to the LAPD, the victim’s exact identity is being kept secret until their next of kin has been notified.

Detectives searched the area for witnesses and more evidence, but they have not yet been able to identify any suspects or determine their motivation.

Detectives from the LAPD Valley Bureau of Homicide said they are requesting that the public assist them by sharing any information that could result in the arrest of the suspect or suspects.
