A lady in her mid-thirties was discovered deceased in a pool at Woodlake Park Apartments in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) received a call around 6:45 am and sent Sergeant Ray Reeves and his team to the location.
They retrieved the body from the pool, but despite attempts at resuscitation, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) pronounced her deceased.
Currently, there’s no indication of any wrongdoing in the investigation.
However, detectives are waiting for the final report from the medical examiner before making a conclusion. The woman was last seen near the pool late the night before.
The JSO is urging any residents with information about the events of the previous night to come forward.
The family of the victim has been notified, however her identity is being withheld for the time being out of respect for their privacy.
The investigation into her death is still underway as the JSO works to provide her grieving family with answers as they search for closure.
