The horrific father from New Jersey who killed his 6-year-old kid by forcing him to complete an exhausting treadmill workout has been sentenced to 25 years in jail. He has shockingly stated that he did not kill the boy.

Christopher Gregor, wearing a prison jumpsuit with stripes in green and white, blubbered in court before receiving a harsh sentence in relation to the death of little Corey Micciolo, who was made to run on a treadmill as a form of punishment on March 20, 2021. On April 2, the boy passed away.

“I want to assure you that on April 2, I did nothing to cause Corey’s passing,” Gregor stated. “I didn’t hurt my son. I loved him and I still do. I regret not bringing him to the hospital sooner. I didn’t know how sick he was. I didn’t know. I just thought he was tired.”

Unsettling footage captured Gregor speeding up the treadmill at the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse exercise club, sending Corey flying off and breaking six times, supposedly because he believed the youngster was too big.

Two weeks later, on April 2, Corey was feeling queasy when he woke up from a nap, stammering and unable to speak clearly.

The boy’s limping and bruised body was then seen by Gregor in terrifying security footage taken that day, just before the boy passed away, at the Southern Ocean Medical Center in Hackensack.

The child’s head bent backwards in the examination room, and registered nurse William Doyle, who was on duty at the time, testified that he “was not showing any signs that he was verbal.”

Because of the severity of his injuries, Corey experienced a seizure during a CT scan, necessitating emergency medical intervention. However, the employees were ineffective, and the infant was declared deceased just before 5:00 p.m.

After the youngster was autopsied, it was discovered that he had cuts to his liver and heart in addition to blunt force injuries to his chest and abdomen. A jury in May found Gregor guilty of manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child, sparing him a murder charge.

The sentence for the murder charge was 30 years to life. The child’s mother begged for the worst punishment conceivable, and Judge Guy Ryan granted it.

“He feels no regret for any of the things he did. Breanna Micciolo, the mother of the child, told the court that her son’s self-remorse stems from being caught and found guilty.

“Everything he had done to Corey was done out of spite to me. Another reason is he is sick in the head and used Corey as his punching bag. He never had an ounce of love for Corey, he was just an inconvenience to his life,” she stated.

“I cannot even begin to imagine what my son went through behind closed doors with this man,” she continued.

Although a medical expert determined the infant died from blunt force trauma, Gregor’s legal team has claimed the youngster died from an infection.
