When a chase ended in a crash in Pomona on Friday night, two persons were killed as they were ejected from a car.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the suspects were running from pursuing police along the I-10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive when the crash occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m.

According to the police, the suspects were traveling the incorrect direction on the expressway when they lost control and veered off the road.

Two of the passengers were forced out of the vehicle when they crashed. After the car rolled over top of their bodies, they were both declared dead at the spot.
