Shocking Charges Denver Professor from Regis University Faces Murder Allegations

Nicholas Myklebust, a professor at Regis University, has a wife and a daughter. Myklebust was charged with his wife’s murder on Monday morning after his arrest on Tuesday. Regarding the death of his infant daughter, he has not been charged.

On Monday morning, Myklebust dialed 911 and informed the authorities that he discovered his 44-year-old wife Seorin Kim bleeding on the floor and their 2-month-old daughter Lesley Kim unconscious.

The infant was pronounced dead at the scene when police and fire rescue arrived at the residence in the 3200 block of North Syracuse Street. After being brought to the hospital, Myklebust’s wife passed away.

Investigators came to the conclusion that there appeared to be a physical fight because of Seorin Kim’s injuries as well as Myklebust’s injuries.

On Friday, Myklebust made an appearance in a Denver courtroom to face accusations of first-degree murder and evidence tampering. He’s still being held under a $5 million bond.

He was recognized as an associate professor at Denver’s Regis University’s English Department.
