Shocking Hit-and-Run Incident Child Left Injured, Driver on the Loose!

JENSEN BEACH, Fla. — Deputies are looking for a driver who hit a child in Jensen Beach and then took off. The child was hurt.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said that on May 8, around 9 a.m., a car hit a child riding a bike at the corner of NW Eugenia Street and NW Federal Highway, near Culver’s.

Investigators say that the person who hit the child and drove away from the scene. The child was hurt in several ways and was taken to a hospital nearby.

But the sheriff’s office said they know what the car looks like. It was said to be a small white four-door car driven by an older man.
