ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Derick Solomon, age 46, was taken into custody by investigators with the St. Petersburg Police Department and is being questioned in connection with the death of Glendon Anderson, age 44.
According to the police, at approximately 9:30 in the morning on Wednesday, May 17th, officers were summoned to the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street and 9th Terrace South in response to a report of an injured guy. This information was provided by the police.
As a consequence of the investigations that were conducted, the police were able to come to the conclusion that the victim and the suspect were involved in some sort of physical fight.
After that, Anderson was transported to Bayfront Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon his arrival. Anderson’s death was officially recorded there.
The police say that the suspect and the victim knew one another and that the victim’s next of kin have been alerted about the event. The police also say that the suspect is in custody.
It was alleged that Solomon was responsible for a murder of the second degree. The study is proceeding at this point in time even further.
