Traffic Operation Leads to Arrest of Alleged Murderer on I-10, Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. — A man was arrested on Interstate 10 in Alabama after being accused of first-degree murder in Pompano Beach.

The arrest took place during a traffic operation conducted by the Interstate Interdiction Unit and U.S. Border Patrol on July 24, according to the Mobile Co. Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

The MCSO press release did not provide further details about the murder case.

However, it was mentioned that at the time of his arrest, David Sosa was traveling with a female passenger and a one-year-old child.

Upon arresting Sosa, the MCSO contacted the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Sosa will be extradited to Broward County to face the murder charge filed against him.

During a search of Sosa’s vehicle by law enforcement, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found, as stated in the MCSO’s press release.
