JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — According to reports from the Jacksonville Police Department, an accident that occurred on Thursday evening resulted in the death of a man.
On Ellis Road South, at around 9 p.m., a biker was traveling in the northbound direction. In the same direction that you were going on Ellis Road was an SUV. According to JSO’s investigation, the two automobiles collided head-on into one another.
According to the police, an adult male who was operating the motorbike was involved in an accident and was brought to the hospital, where he was later declared deceased.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the site of the accident and has been cooperative with police as they do their investigation. The Traffic Homicide section is now investigating to discover what caused the collision.
The fatality counts from road accidents in Duval County this year now stands at 54. This is the tenth accident of this kind that has resulted in a fatality.
