On Friday afternoon, a car smashed through the front of a building in Long Island, New York, leaving at least four people dead and nine injured, according to authorities.
At 4:42 p.m., there was a collision at the Hawaii Nail & Spa located on Grand Avenue in Deer Park, Suffolk County.
According to the police, a driver in a minivan “drove through the building, all the way through the building.” The minivan smashed through the neighborhood business, trapping multiple persons, according to the authorities.
The tiny neighborhood store had a huge hole in it that seemed like the car blew right through, according to footage from the site.
When emergency personnel arrived on the site, the motorist was only half aware, according to the police.
According to witness Eric Perez, he heard the crash. Perez described it as having a “shattering sound.” “Like nothing I’ve heard before.”
Perez claimed that up until he noticed police cars everywhere, he had ignored the racket.
