Tragic Incident at El Camino College Man Dies in Attempted Murder-Suicide Involving Mother

After his mother was involved in an attempted murder-suicide at El Camino College in Torrance on Friday night, a guy was discovered dead.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department states that at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a parking structure close to Redondo Beach Boulevard and Stadium Way.

At the site, authorities discovered a male who had been declared deceased and a lady who had sustained multiple stab wounds.

The mom was bleeding heavily on the sidewalk, according to witnesses, and she was begging for help after her son had stabbed her. With serious injuries, paramedics took her to the hospital.

The corpse of the male suspect was on the pavement outside the building. According to witnesses, the man fatally jumped from the fifth storey of the parking structure after stabbing his mother.

The events leading up to the fatal occurrence are still unknown, and there are still few details available.

One witness remembered, “There was lots of blood everywhere.”

“An apparent suicide has occurred at Parking Lot H. El Camino College Police is working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to investigate the matter,” was the text message sent to staff and students regarding the event.

Friday night, the campus was closed while the issue was still being looked into by the authorities. The identities of the victim and the suspect remained undisclosed.
