Two Men Shot and Killed in Fort Lauderdale - What Really Happened

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two guys were killed in separate shootings in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night and early Saturday morning. The police are looking into both of them.

Fort Lauderdale police say that around 11:45 p.m., they got a ShotSpotter warning and went to the 1600 block of Northwest 13th Street.

Authorities said that when cops arrived, they found a man who was hurt.

Detectives say that Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue took the man to Broward Health Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Fort Lauderdale police also reported that they were called to a shooting near the 700 block of Northwest 22nd Road at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers said that when they got there, they found a man who was dead at the scene.

Investigators said that the FLPD’s Homicide Unit is working hard on both cases.

Police don’t know who either of the two people killed are.
