On Thursday in Miami-Dade County, two shooters opened fire on a guy in a black BMW SUV, which subsequently collided with a burgundy four-door sedan, according to authorities.
Detectives in Miami Gardens were looking for the shooters who escaped in a white vehicle following the ambush and shooting at a Miami Gardens parking lot.
After 2 p.m., authorities discovered the man dead in the smashed SUV near the intersection of Miami Gardens Drive and Northwest 27 Avenue. According to witnesses, the victim had just exited Sunday’s Eatery.
“The shooting appears to be targeted,” said Diana Delgado-Gourgue, a Miami Gardens Police Department spokesman.
According to authorities, the man was found bleeding inside the smashed black automobile, which had bullet holes in the driver’s side window.
He was pronounced deceased by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews. Lurnard Rodgers stated that he was at the shopping mall at the time of the shooting and collision.
“If you’ve got a beef with people out here on the street, don’t bring it out here,” Rodgers said.
Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
