According to the information provided by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the body of a guy who had been shot to death was discovered in the Avondale district of Jacksonville late on Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of St. Johns Avenue tonight at approximately 8:45 p.m. after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered a guy lying in the middle of the road.
The individual appeared to have been shot multiple times when the police came, since he was found with obvious wounds. Personnel from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department arrived at the site and determined that the individual had passed away.
The police have not as of yet named any suspects in connection with this incident because they are currently conducting their investigation into what took place.
