According to a recent survey, single men from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky would rather go on their first dates to Chick-fil-A than to a fancy restaurant.
Because eating out is becoming more expensive, single Americans are preferring less expensive options over upscale dining establishments, according to Dating News.
According to the outlet, it polled 3,000 American men to find out where they would go on a date instead of dining at a fancy restaurant.
Most unmarried males from Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio stated that they would go to Chick-fil-A for their first date.

According to the survey, two out of three women would be happy to go on a first date to a fast-food restaurant.
40% of respondents stated they would be receptive to the notion if their date was just forthright about their spending, and 41% of respondents stated they would consent to a first date that was affordable as long as the two were compatible and the date was dedicated to having fun.

Additionally, respondents stated that they would take into account the following cost-effective suggestions:
- A date at a coffee shop: 26%
- A marathon of films at home: 24%
- A stroll through the town and a food truck stop: 23%
- A picnic including dollar menu items: 12%
