21-Year-Old Woman Charged with Two Counts of Attempted Murder in Broward

When Khydeeja McBride was 18 years old, she was charged with domestic abuse in Miramar. Three years or so later, and now more seriously charged, back in the Broward County jail.

According to records of inmates in Broward County, McBride, 21, was booked by deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, following her arrest on two charges of attempted murder by Sunrise police officers.

Prosecutors filed the first-degree criminal charge against her at the Central Courthouse on Wednesday, according to county court records.

According to jail county records, McBride was being held without bond in the North Broward Bureau in Pompano Beach by deputies.

McBride has a history of arrests. In the domestic abuse case, McBride was charged with assaulting a youngster in Miramar for eating her meal, according to a 2021 arrest form. The lawsuit was abandoned.

George Odom, Jr., the circuit judge for Broward County, was scheduled to rule over the new case, according to court records.
