62-Year-Old Man Gets 25 Years in Jail for Shocking Attempted Murder of Deputy!

On Tuesday, a 62-year-old man was given a sentence of 25 years in jail for the attempted murder of a deputy in 2021 who was trying to serve a warrant at the man’s house in the Indian Springs Country Club Community, which is located close to Boynton Beach. The man was sentenced.

Thomas Robarge entered a guilty plea to three charges of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm of a law enforcement officer. Robarge admitted his involvement in the incident.

After that, the judge of the circuit court, Sarah Willis, gave him a sentence of 25 years for one offense and 20 years for the other two counts, all of which were to be served consecutively.

On July 28, 2021, Robarge, who resided in an apartment in the 500 block of Fairway Park Drive, was accused of vandalizing automobiles and causing damage to vehicles in the area. Robarge’s address was given as “500 block of Fairway Park Drive.”

At around one in the afternoon, officers sought to serve him with a warrant for felony malicious mischief.

Timothy, Robarge’s brother, was the one who opened the door, and the law enforcement officials informed him that they came to execute a warrant.

PBSO said that after entering the apartment, numerous bullets were fired from a dark bedroom.

After that, Thomas Robarge locked himself in the bedroom and made no more moves. Timothy, his brother, left the house and turned himself in without causing a disturbance.

During that moment, the PBSO SWAT squad arrived at the residence and released several rounds of gas inside.

After around an hour, Robarge left the room and submitted without putting up a fight.

The deputy was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he later had surgery.
