Miracle Survival: Man Paralyzed After Driving Off Bridge Shares His Story!

Miracle Survival Man Paralyzed After Driving Off Bridge Shares His Story!

In Orlando, a man lost control of his car and drove off a bridge, but he is still alive to tell the story.

Angel Garcia, 39, is thought to have lost control of his 2018 Acura while trying to avoid a crash. He fell about 50 feet from State Road 528 and landed on Interstate 4 below.

Garcia is now paralyzed from the chest down and has broken bones in his back and face. From his hospital bed, he is talking about what happened. He said in an interview that he doesn’t remember falling and still feels like he’s in a nightmare.

“How do you go from walking one minute to not being able to walk the next?” he asked. “It’s just the worst feeling in the whole world.”

Even though Garcia is glad to have health insurance and help from his job, he knows it was close. He hopes that his story will remind drivers to be more careful on the road.

“Your life can be taken away in an instant, and you won’t even know it,” he said. “They are helping me in every way they can. They went so far as to set up a GoFundMe account to help me.”

It’s interesting that this isn’t the first time something has dropped off of the same overpass. In 2017, a pipe fell off a work truck and hit another man’s car, hurting him.

Garcia is determined to make the most of his time and tells others to do the same. He thinks he has a guardian angel watching over him.

“I still have a lot of work to do. He said, “It was clear that it wasn’t my time.”
