A woman from Florida had a stroke of luck when her $20 lottery ticket turned into a multi-million dollar prize! Janice Velez, a 60-year-old resident of Kissimmee, claimed the top prize of $5 million from the $5,000,000 CASHWORD Scratch-Off game, according to the Florida Lottery.

She opted for a one-time lump-sum payment of $3,915,000. Velez bought her winning ticket at the RaceTrac located at 4541 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee. The store will also receive a bonus commission of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The $5,000,000 CASHWORD game costs $20 to play and offers eight top prizes of $5 million, along with 24 prizes of $1 million and more.

The game’s website indicates that there are no more top prizes available to win, making Velez the last top prize winner of the year. As of Monday, November 6, there is still one more $1 million prize up for grabs.

The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.91.

This 60-year-old winner isn’t the only Floridian to become millions of dollars richer this year. In September, another man won $5 million from a different Florida Lottery game.

There was also another man who said his hands were shaking when he found out he had won a massive lottery prize
