Murder Investigation Underway PBSO Deputies Find Victim in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that a man’s body was found Wednesday morning at a suburban Delray Beach home during a check on his well-being.

The man’s name and how he died were not given in PBSO’s statement. PBSO said that an autopsy done by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office showed that the man had been killed.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies were sent to a home in the Waterways at Delray neighborhood on Atlantic Avenue south of Florida’s Turnpike on the 15000 block of Summer Lake Drive. When they got there, the man was already dead inside.

As of Thursday morning, PBSO said they didn’t know why or anything else about the person of interest.

Anyone who knows something should call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS (8477) or use the “See Something” feature on the PBSO app for smartphones. Tips can be sent in without giving your name.
