Jacksonville as a Tourist Destination
A travel blog called Trips to Discover said that there were 70,000 people to Jacksonville in 2021, which was almost 150% more than in 2020.
The city was called a “rising tourist destination” for people “looking to enjoy the beaches, food, and Floridian culture.”
The number of people visiting from other countries is also going up quickly, according to the study. In 2021, it will jump from No. 42 to No. 22 on a list of cities with the most visitors.
Trips to Discover said it looked at data from NTTO and the National Travel and Tourism Office’s Inbound Market and Sector Profiles for Overseas Visitors to the U.S. to come up with the number.
The material that was looked at was from 2021, but it was put together in the beginning of 2023.
