ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Both a man and a woman were discovered wounded inside an apartment in Pine Hills on Wednesday, and both were rushed to a hospital for treatment, according to sheriff’s authorities. Investigators suspect the guy shot himself, therefore it is believed that the male’s injuries were self-inflicted.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, officers were dispatched to a home in the Residences West Place Apartments located in the 700 block of Sherwood Terrace Drive at around 10:10 a.m. after someone reported seeing a guy armed with a firearm inside the residence. The residence is located in the 700 block of Sherwood Terrace Drive.
According to a press statement, a caller informed dispatchers that the man had shot his revolver while they were on their way to the scene to assist. As they arrived on the site, the deputies reported hearing further shooting.
According to the announcement, a man and a woman were both discovered inside the flat suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims had been shot. According to the investigators, it seemed as though the individual had shot himself.
In addition, deputies stated that an innocent bystander was treated on the scene after being grazed by a gunshot fired by the suspect while they were in their apartment.
Both the man and the woman were sent to a nearby hospital. Their identities and the current state of their ailments have not been made public.
The investigators have stated that they are not looking for any further suspects at this time.

The spokesman for BH Management Services also stated that the firm recently requested the local police department to raise the number of patrols in the area and that the company also increased the number of courtesy patrols that are conducted on-site around the clock.
