62-Year-Old Man Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for Shooting Police Officer!

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLA– A 62-year-old man in Palm Beach County was given a 25-year prison term because he shot an officer who was at his house to serve a warrant.

Thomas Robarge pleaded guilty to three counts of trying to kill a police officer in the first degree with a gun, and he got his sentence on Tuesday.

The report said that Robarge was wanted in July 2021 for reportedly breaking into and damaging cars in his area.

After doing some research, an officer went to Robarge’s home in the Indian Springs Country Club Community near Boynton Beach to serve him with a warrant.

When the deputy got there, Robarge’s brother met him at the door and told him why he was there.

The deputy was allowed to go inside the house, and Robarge shot at the deputy from a dark room.
Robarge’s brother gave up without a fight, but Robarge stayed locked up in the room.

The deputy had to have surgery at a nearby hospital, where he was taken right away.

The PBSO SWAT team went to the scene and shot gas into the house several times.
Robarge did come out of the house in the end, and he was caught without any trouble.
