The eldest sons of Donald Trump swiftly took to social media to criticize their father’s historic Thursday conviction in the New York hush-money trial.
Donald Trump Jr. posted on X, “Such bullshit,” before making other posts condemning the decision and falsely alleging that the trial was an attempt to rig the 2024 election.
This case was rigged from the start. Remember, the same hacks in the media demanding Justice Alito recuse himself because of a flag, have zero problem with the corrupt judge in this case being a donor to Joe Biden or his daughter making millions from Democrats!#RiggedSystem https://t.co/VwimHP5iNd

The sole member of Trump’s family to attend the court proceedings, his middle son Eric, also commented on X, saying that the verdict’s date might be remembered as the day his father won the election.

Ivanka Trump shared a story on her Instagram a few hours after the verdict was made, and it appeared to be a picture of her sitting on her father’s knee as a little child. The brief caption for the picture said, “I love you dad.”
While some of Trump’s relatives were spotted close to the Manhattan Criminal Court, the rest of the family stayed quiet on social media.

Near the courthouse, Trump Jr., Eric, and Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee and Eric’s wife, gave press conferences denouncing the decision.
“This was never a case about prosecuting an actual crime,” Lara Trump stated to reporters. “This is a case about politics, pure and simple.”
Neither Melania Trump nor her husband Jared Kushner had made any public comments regarding the trial’s verdict as of Thursday night.
The fiancée of former president Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, publicly endorsed him by posting on X that “the only verdict that matters is at the ballot box on November 5th.”
Mary L. Trump, Trump’s niece, was the only family member to applaud the guilty decision.
“This scumbag finally got what was coming to him,” she stated in a YouTube live stream, “granted in a very limited way.”
