While federal stimulus cheques have stopped, some states still give out direct cash to citizens to assist them deal with inflation and other financial difficulties.
These rewards support sustainable energy activities like buying electric cars or building clean energy solutions in addition to providing financial assistance.
The Clean Transportation Incentive Program in Delaware has been extended through April 30, 2025. Residents who purchase electric vehicles—including plug-in hybrids and battery-electric vehicles—will receive a $2,500 return under this program.
With the program’s inception in 2015, around 5,500 refunds totaling $12.8 million had been granted. But this year, the program has eliminated incentives for cars that run on natural gas or propane in favor of concentrating only on electric vehicles.

Residents who buy an e-bike this month in Atlanta can receive a $1,000 rebate. Proof of residency is required for the week-long contest, and applications will be accepted starting on June 16. Propel ATL spokesman Rebecca Serna highlighted the city’s initiatives to improve street safety and accessibility for various forms of transit.
According to the Atlanta Regional Commission, the $1 million initiative will bring 800–1,000 new e-bikes to the city, lowering its carbon footprint and improving low-income citizens’ access to jobs.
A normal e-bike rebate of $1,500 and a cargo e-bike rebate of $2,000 are available to those making $54,000 or less yearly, while higher earners can receive a $500 rebate for a standard e-bike and a $1,000 rebate for a cargo e-bike.
