A boy with autism was walking down a California street on Monday when he touched the hood ornament of his Mercedes. The incident was caught on shocking cellphone video. The boy received a slap from the entitled Mercedes owner.
On July 1, at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Osbourne Street in the Pacoima district of Los Angeles, 10-year-old Alfredo Morales was crossing the street with his older sister.
The Mercedes-Benz sedan was parked at a red light at the intersection when young Alfredo reached out and touched the insignia on the front of the expensive car as the siblings made their way to the bus stop for their daily food run, as reported by KTLA.
The driver became enraged by the odd grasp and promptly reversed course, approaching the couple seated on the bus stop bench.
In the video, the sister apologizes, saying in Spanish, “Sorry, He is autistic. He requires special attention.”
As a grinning Alfredo extended his hand to greet the newcomer, Morales’ elder sister made an attempt to get in the way of her brother and the man.
The driver slapped the youngster across the face and turned to go, dismissing the older sibling’s attempt to form a barricade.

The cellphone video shows the unidentified motorist getting out of his car after the smack, looking at the front symbol, and even moving it about before taking off.
Alfredo’s parents expressed their anger towards the occurrence to the source, stating that their son has autism and frequently uses touch to investigate his surroundings.
Miguel Morales, Alfredo’s father, is searching for information and justice for his son. The elder Morales declared that he will submit the video evidence and a police complaint about the event.
