12-Year-Old Girl Dies, Nine Others Hurt in South LA Multi-Vehicle Collision

Authorities in South Los Angeles reported that a multi-car crash on Friday resulted in the death of a 12-year-old girl and the injuries of nine others.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the three-car collision happened just before 6:20 p.m. close to Paloma Avenue and Century Boulevard.

According to the authorities, the collision injured four minors, one of whom, a 12-year-old girl, passed away instantly. The three additional young kids were sent in moderate condition to a hospital.

Five other adult victims were transferred in fair condition, while one adult driver was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the LAPD, all victims of the truck crash are anticipated to live.

Although the exact reason of the collision is unknown, authorities think it might have been the result of an automobile doing an unsafe U-turn.
