ORLANDO, Fla. — It will be bright, dry, and quite hot during much of the afternoon on Sunday. The majority of Central Florida will experience a mixture of cloud cover and sunshine, with just a couple of storms starting about lunchtime and continuing through the early afternoon. Temperatures will soar into the upper 80s and lower 90s for the high.
Around the same time as dinner, widespread rain and thunderstorms begin to emerge. Expect the strongest storm possibilities near and to the northwest of Interstate 4, although as the evening progresses, showers and storms will progressively move toward Orlando and Interstate 95.
It’s possible that storms will continue long into Sunday night.
On Monday, storms will move much further throughout the region. In the early afternoon, you may anticipate the development of a few isolated storms that will eventually become widespread during the evening commute on Monday.
Your evening commute on Monday could be considerably hampered by the presence of storms due to the Unfavorable Weather Conditions.
Even while widespread severe weather is not anticipated, there is always a chance that a few storms may bring isolated wind gusts that will cause damage as well as tiny hail. Any storm that develops will bring about deluges of rain as well as frequent lightning strikes.
The likelihood of storms will remain high through Thursday.
As we move closer to the weekend of Memorial Day, the likelihood of rain begins to decrease.
Even though the likelihood of storms is growing, it is unlikely that the start of the rainy season has arrived just yet.
