Deputies: Pregnant Mother Was Stabbed 14 Times in Front of Her Small Daughter Due to a Poor Pizza Delivery Tip

WPBN: Deputy sheriffs in Florida have filed charges against a pizza delivery driver who is accused of severely assaulting a pregnant lady because she was unhappy with the amount of the check that she received.

According to a news release issued by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Brianna Alvelo, who is 22 years old and hails from Kissimmee, was taken into custody in connection with the attack that occurred on Monday.

She is currently being charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, house invasion, and aggravated assault.

On Thursday, an arrest affidavit was filed, which included additional information regarding the attack, as well as the fact that Alvelo is now also being charged with murder.

According to the report, the victim was living in the motel room with her boyfriend and her daughter, who was five years old at the time, celebrating her boyfriend’s birthday. The stabbing took place at approximately 11:45 p.m., after the three of them had ordered dinner from a Marco’s Pizza restaurant located nearby.

During the delivery of the pizza, the victim reportedly attempted to pay for the $33.10 order with a $50 bill and then asked for change. This information was included in the report.

According to reports, Alvelo then informed the victim that “they do not provide change,” which prompted the victim to request that her money be returned and to look for bills with lesser denominations.

In the end, the victim paid for the order and reportedly left a tip of two dollars for Alvelo. At that time, she said to the detectives that Alvelo “rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything.”

Officials stated that Avelo returned to the victim’s motel room later in the evening, after the victim’s boyfriend and daughter had gone to sleep, and forced their way into the room. Avelo was accompanied by an unknown male suspect who was armed with a pistol.

After pointing the gun at the woman and her daughter, the male allegedly forced the victim’s boyfriend into the bathroom. Once inside, the guy allegedly destroyed the boyfriend’s phone while Alvelo began searching through the victim’s belongings. The investigation is still ongoing.

An individual who was armed with a knife, Alvelo, started attacking one of the victims, according to the officials. In addition, the victim believed that Alvelo was “trying to kill her.” The woman was stabbed numerous times, and Alvelo stopped stabbing the victim when the male suspect yelled that it was time to leave, according to the detectives.

At the hospital, the victim was informed that she was a few weeks pregnant, and she had undergone surgery for a punctured lung. According to the investigators, the woman had been stabbed fourteen times.
