A father from Alabama has acknowledged that he killed his three-year-old daughter after leaving her with “horrific” wounds. The youngster was discovered in a bathtub unconscious.
The incident happened in 2021. When Aydah Grace DiMaso, age three, was in the custody of her father, Nikolas Joseph Dimaso, he was discovered to be unresponsive.
Concerns were raised, and a welfare check turned up the child. Aydah was found, according to the authorities, with more than 50 injuries on her body.
Attorney Tommy James stated that, “All these agencies touched and were warned that this poor child was suffering and she needed to get out of that house and out of that situation and they failed her completely and as a result, this tragedy occurred.”
He continued that, “She had a broken left arm that was healing, she had a gash in her foot, and she literally had marks up and down her whole body. What this child suffered from is just horrific, you can’t even imagine.”

A lawsuit was launched against the Alabama Department of Human Resources by Aydah’s grandmother. She maintains that several attempts to safeguard the youngster were unsuccessful.
Dimaso entered a guilty plea to charges of conspiring to conduct severe child abuse and capital murder of a child under the age of 14. Thursday was when he was sentenced.
Following the child’s murder, Haley Dee Metz, his girlfriend, is also accused of conspiring to conduct aggravated assault and aggravated assault.
