A Texas lady allegedly started a fire in retaliation when a man in a mobile home refused to let her use his restroom. The fire destroyed several homes and killed three pets and a visitor in one of the homes.
The 38-year-old Mirsa Lopez is charged with starting the fire that destroyed Gary Fischer’s house on Saturday. Fischer reportedly refused to allow her into his home at a mobile home park on Lombardy Lane in Northwest Dallas, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
Fischer told the station that he had awakened up to the sound of Lopez knocking and his dogs screaming, and that “there she was standing.” “I shut the door and locked it after saying, ‘Try later.'”
A few minutes later, according to Fischer, he saw flames outside his house and heard a tremendous explosion. He claimed that the room was filled with smoke and that he “could hardly breathe.”
Around 6:30 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue got a 911 call, according to CBS News. According to reports, the fire was so intense that more units had to be called in, and it took around two hours to get it under control.
Witnesses informed police they saw Lopez in a chair outside the blazing mobile home. According to reports, Lopez herself disclosed her relationship with Fischer to her neighbors.

Inside one of the residences, first responders discovered the man unconscious. He was sent to the hospital, where he was declared deceased. His identity has not been made public.
The fire also claimed the lives of three dogs, including one that belonged to a neighbor and two that belonged to Fischer.
