ST. PETERSBURG — A guy who is 18 years old was taken into custody after a shooting on April 8 at the Sundial shopping center in St. Petersburg.
Around 11 p.m., police were called to the shopping center on 2nd Avenue North because someone had been shot. They found a boy who was 13 years old and had been shot in the leg.
Detectives found out that Deshayne McCullough shot the victim after arguing with him and then running away. The person was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
McCullough, who lives in St. Petersburg, was taken into custody on April 13 and charged with aggravated attack with a dangerous weapon causing great bodily harm and being a criminal with a gun.
