POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies detained four adolescent males on Friday for allegedly crashing a stolen automobile into a gun store in Pompano Beach and stealing three high-powered guns. The incident allegedly took place on Friday.
On Friday, the agency made the announcement about the arrests.
BSO spokeswoman Gerdy St. Louis said that the four individuals intentionally rammed a stolen Kia Forte into Declaration Defense, which is situated in the 1300 block of Southwest First Court, in the wee hours of the morning in order to gain entrance to the business.
The suspects reportedly escaped in yet another stolen Kia Forte after snatching three AR-15 firearms, according to the deputies.
St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson St. Louis claimed that officers made the arrests after discovering two of the stolen firearms and the getaway vehicle at a residence in Oakland Park.
According to what she claimed on Friday evening, the third AR-15 had not been found yet.
The identities of the four lads, ages 16 and 17, who were each arrested on one count of grand theft of a firearm have not been released by the authorities of the sheriff’s office.
St. Louis claimed that sheriff’s officers also plan to pursue charges of burglary while armed as well as grand theft of a car.
