Breaking News Suspected Walmart Shooter Captured by SWAT Team!

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — A guy who, according to the cops, opened fire at a Walmart in Lauderdale Lakes before escaping on a scooter has been taken into custody.

The preliminary investigation, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), indicated that Tironie Shavar Sterling showed up at the Walmart where he works on Tuesday afternoon to meet a female coworker. Sterling was employed there.

After arriving at the location, Sterling and the lady engaged in a heated disagreement that eventually turned into a violent confrontation.

During the confrontation, Sterling threw a gun to the ground and attempted to take the woman’s mobile phone from her hand.

According to BSO, Sterling got into a violent argument with a customer who had stepped in to attempt to assist the lady. The customer had tried to aid the woman.

According to the detectives, Sterling then grabbed his revolver and began firing numerous shots at the victim before leaving the scene on a scooter.

Several hours after the event, Sterling was taken into custody by members of the BSO’s SWAT, Fugitive, and V.I.P.E.R (Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response) units.
