According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the entire Hells Angels biker gang branch in Bakersfield has been taken into custody on suspicion of crimes including kidnapping, robbery, and assault.
Tuesday morning, eight search warrants were served and the arrests were conducted by the authorities. According to officials, they took 25 firearms, ammo, large capacity magazines, and gang memorabilia.
The following people were listed as being detained: Joshua Zavala, 31, Ricardo Alvarez, 42; Armando Villasenor, 55; Joseph Soto Sr., 57; Joseph Soto Jr., 33; and John Seeger, 57. Joshua Vaughn, a 37-year-old suspect, was previously detained on unrelated allegations.
Alvarez, Villasenor, the Sotos, and Zavala are part of the infamous motorcycle gang, while Vaughn and Seeger are part of the Sons of Hell Motorcycle Cub, which follows orders from the Hells Angels, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department.

The release states that additional offenses they may have committed include elder abuse, criminal threats, intimidating a witness or victim, and wrongful imprisonment.
Charges have been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office, according to officials, and the investigation is still on.
Approximately one hundred fifty law enforcement personnel from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives participated in the Wednesday operation.
