On Saturday, a $40,000 winning Keno ticket was sold at a Cape Cod liquor store. The ticket was bought in Falmouth at RJ’s Variety & Liquor on Sandwich Road.

A $100,000 Mass Cash ticket that won was also sold at an Athol convenience store on Saturday. Players in Keno can opt to play up to 12 numbers places, filling each spot with a number between 1 and 80. There are different odds and prizes for every number place.

The next decision for players is how much they want to risk on each drawing, which ranges from $1 to $20, as well as how many drawings they want to utilize the same numbers for.

Every day from 5:04 a.m. to 1:01 a.m., drawings are held every three minutes. The same numbers can be played in up to 30 consecutive drawings.

Additionally, by highlighting the Keno Bonus, players can increase their winnings up to ten times. The 10th, 11th, and 12th spots are not accessible for Keno Bonus.

Eight wins in Springfield and three in Worcester were among the minimum 231 prizes worth at least $600 that were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Saturday.

Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a complete list of the winning tickets. Only winning tickets totaling more than $600 are included on the list.

The biggest lottery win in Massachusetts this year was for $1 million, which was awarded as a lifelong annual prize.

The winnings came from a scratch-off ticket game called “Lifetime Millions” in the lottery. On July 10, the winner chose to accept a $15.4 million lump sum payout rather than having their award claimed through a trust.
