Double Payments Coming in November: SSI Checks and SNAP Benefits Issued Across 15 States

For many recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the timing of payments plays a crucial role in managing their budgets. Fortunately, there is positive news for SSI beneficiaries in November 2024. They will receive two payments that month—one for the current month and a second in advance for December. The second payment is scheduled for November 29, 2024.

SSI Payments and SNAP Benefits on November 1

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has confirmed that the next SSI payment will be distributed on November 1. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and its Food and Nutrition Service have outlined the states that will also begin issuing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits on the same day. In certain states, recipients will receive their SNAP benefits solely on November 1, aligning with the SSI payment schedule.

States Offering SNAP and SSI Payments on the Same Day

Several states will distribute SNAP benefits to Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards over multiple days or weeks.
