Dion Lewis, a former New York Giants running back and current free agent, was taken into custody on Monday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida. Lewis won the Super Bowl in 2013.
In accordance with the arrest report, Lewis was taken into custody by the Seminole Indian Police at around 2:00 in the afternoon.
After waiting for an additional hour, he was taken into custody and booked into the Orient Road Jail by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The charge against Lewis is trespassing in an occupied structure, with a set bond of $500.
According to a Seminole Police Department official, Lewis was “unruly” and “belligerent,” including “causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the premises.”
After playing for the Tennessee Titans for two years, Lewis made the move up to the New York Giants in the year 2020.
In addition, he played for the New England Patriots from 2015-2018 and the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011-2013. Both teams are in the NFL.
