Felony Charges for 23-Year-Old Caught with 117 Grams of Marijuana and Cocaine

A 23-year-old man named Daniel Anthony Ardolino Jr., from Tavares, was apprehended for suspicion of selling drugs while he was caught smoking marijuana at a local restaurant.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Thursday at the parking lot of Huey Magoo’s in Lady Lake Commons, as reported by the Lady Lake Police Department.

Upon making contact with Ardolino, the officers found him in the act of smoking a marijuana cigarette. He claimed to have a medical marijuana card and stated that he was waiting for his food.

However, a search of his white Nissan passenger car resulted in the discovery of 117 grams of marijuana, packaged in prepackaged bags, over four grams of cocaine, and a digital scale.

Further investigation revealed that Ardolino was already on probation for previous charges of selling marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.

As a consequence, he was arrested on felony charges for possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of cocaine. Due to the probation violations, he was taken to the Lake County Jail without the option for a bond.
