First Degree Murder Charges Filed in Brutal Killing of 15-Year-Old in Orlando

Agardo Francois, 30, was charged with First Degree Murder by a grand jury for the shooting murder of a 15-year-old child.

The State’s evidence indicates that the Orlando Police Department was notified of a shooting incident at 5150 Millenia Boulevard on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Officers arrived and found that the victim, 15-year-old Destin Webster-Thompson, had been shot in the head. After being taken to the hospital, Webster-Thompson passed away from his wounds.

Francois has been named as the main suspect in the homicide investigation by the Orlando Police Department. On December 11, 2023, he was apprehended for the murder of Webster-Thompson and charged with second-degree murder. Since his arrest, he has been held in custody awaiting trial.

In order to obtain indictments for First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Conspiracy to Possess a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, the State provided a grand jury with enough evidence.

March 26, 2024 is his next scheduled court appearance for a pre-trial conference. Updates regarding this defendant’s upcoming court appearances can be found on the Orange County Clerk of Courts website.
