Two cars were wrecked in a violent incident that left two individuals dead, according to witnesses, and the neighborhood in Grand Prairie is still suffering as a result.
Saturday night, after 8 p.m., it happened close to 1500 South Belt Line Road.
On camera footage captured by onlookers at the site, the impact caused one automobile to topple over and burst into flames, while the force of the crash broke the front end of another vehicle to huge fragments.
According to Ashik Maharzan, “It was the craziest day of my life.” The Grand Prairie Belt Line Road, a four-lane road that connects I-20 and I-30, was the scene of the collision on a fast-moving section.
Maharzan was working inside the Valero station—the site of the collision—just moments before it happened.
“I heard a big bang noise from there coming up, and I took a peek at it and I saw two people flying out of the window,” Maharzan stated.

Maharzan claimed to have seen what seemed to be two dead victims laying motionless on the roadway when he hurried outdoors. He claimed that although the fire was too hot to run there, he still wanted to help.
Above the wreck, the wires dangling from utility poles caught fire. Neighbors warned that their internet would likely be down for the next two days while workers attempted to repair the damage on Sunday.
Some people might experience the crash’s emotional effects for a longer period of time.
“I couldn’t sleep for two or three hours, I couldn’t sleep,” Maharzan stated. “That fire was in my mind for a couple of hours.”
