According to Georgian police, a family dog passed away after becoming inadvertently stuck inside a heated automobile without the owners’ awareness.
According to a statement from the Tybee Island Police Department, a guy discovered the family dog inside the car in trouble on Saturday afternoon and contacted 911 for assistance.
The dog, regrettably, was not saved.
Investigators discovered that two kids had left their vacation rental earlier in the day to retrieve their stuff from a car parked in the driveway. Before they closed the door, the family’s tiny dog, who the children were unaware of, had followed them outside and sprang into the car. The dog was left stuck in the car as they left, according to the police.

Later, after realizing the dog was missing, the father of the kids started searching for it. The family dialed 911 after discovering the dog in difficulty inside the heated vehicle.
Sadly, after arriving on the scene, the officers were unable to save the dog.
“While this event is tragic, the responding officers determined it to be an accident involving children who had no desire or intent to harm their beloved pet. Our hearts remain with the family, and any who may have been affected, as they attempt to move forward from this incident,” police stated.
