A Norfolk man’s imprisonment for drug sales was made possible in large part by a confidential informant.
After it was discovered that Lashawn D. Pullie was in possession of almost 2,000 grams of illegal narcotics, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana, he was given a 14-year prison sentence.
Six controlled purchases from Pullie and a co-conspirator were made by Homeland Security Investigations in collaboration with the Norfolk Police Department, according to court filings.
The informant contacted Pullie on September 20, 2022, offering to buy cocaine and methamphetamine.
They set up a second meeting for the methamphetamine at a different location because Pullie only brought the cocaine during the initial buy. After pulling up in a different car, Pullie finished the transaction.

Over the course of the inquiry, Pullie sold the informant over 400 grams of cocaine and over 300 grams of methamphetamine.
The search warrants for Pullie’s home, storage unit, and car were carried out by detectives on October 13, 2022.
Along with two loaded weapons and about 300 grams of marijuana, 1,446 grams of cocaine, 393 grams of methamphetamine, 184 oxycodone tablets, and $7,674 were found by the investigators.
