Two social security check cycles have already been distributed as of June 2024, and more are scheduled to be distributed.
It is expected that social security checks for those expecting to receive them this week will arrive one day early, so you may need to adjust your spending plans. Though it is undoubtedly preferable to be early than late.
The June timeline for when you should get your SSDI or Social Security payment is shown below.
- Social Security benefits for those who began receiving them before to May 1997 are payable on June 3.
- Social Security benefits are paid on June 12th to individuals whose birthdays fall between the first and tenth of any given month.
- Social Security benefits for those whose birthdays fall between the 11th and the 20th of any given month are paid on June 18. Given that June 19 is Juneteenth, a federal holiday, this is a day early.
- Social Security benefits are paid on June 26 to individuals whose birthdays fall between June 21 and June 31 of any given month.
