According to a local police department official, two persons were discovered dead on Friday after police responded to a “suspicious call involving gunshots” at an apartment complex in Miramar.
Police in Miramar The crime scene, according to Detective Yessenia Diaz, was located in the 6000 block of Southwest 36th Court.
She said that the victims were adults.
The identities of the victims and whether or not a suspect or suspects had been identified and taken into jail were among the details the authorities withheld.
The deaths, according to residents of the apartment building, were a man and a woman who may have been a couple who lived in the complex.
“I don’t know what happened, but it went to hell,” resident Aaron Francis stated. “It was probably something between them and it went bad. I heard his daughter scream.”
Francis reported that his son heard what sounded like gunshots and that he heard a loud noise.
“He came out here to check and opened the door and when he opened it, he just looked on the ground and two bodies right here,” Francis stated. “He literally hit the guy’s head with my door.”

There was still blood on his doormat.
“All of this was soaked full of blood,” Francis stated. “Blood was dripping down there like it was water.”
Just before 12:45 on Friday afternoon, Diaz sent out an email stating, “This investigation is ongoing. We will provide a follow-up as soon as one is available.”
