Jingle Bell Brawl: Florida Woman Named 'Miracle' Faces Charges of Beating Boyfriend With Christmas Tree

On Christmas Eve morning in Florida, a bizarre incident unfolded when 20-year-old Miracle Rivera was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend with a Christmas tree.

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by Smoking Gun, Rivera and her 24-year-old boyfriend were engaged in a verbal dispute in their St. Petersburg bedroom, sparked by suspicions of infidelity.

Following the argument, the boyfriend moved to the living room couch. Rivera pursued him and reportedly took hold of a Christmas tree, using it to repeatedly strike him.

The arrest report did not specify the tree’s size or whether it was real or artificial, and the tree itself was not confiscated.

The assault left the victim with numerous minor scratches on his upper body and arms. Rivera was taken into custody on Christmas Eve morning and faced domestic battery charges at the Pinellas County Jail, from which she was released on Christmas Day.

Despite pleading not guilty, Rivera has been instructed to maintain distance from the victim.
