The public is being contacted by police once more to assist in the hunt for a 14-year-old girl who vanished in Wilmington earlier this month.

Adriana Sarah Gonzalez-Rugama was last observed in the vicinity of the 1300 block of Figueroa Place on September 7.

The Los Angeles Police Department said in a news statement that was originally sent on September 12 but was reissued on Tuesday that “it is believed that Adriana may be with a 41-year-old male, either in Los Angeles or the Dallas, Texas area.”

Gonzalez-Rugama’s mother filed a missing person’s report after learning her daughter had packed her bags and fled the house, according to the police.

Gonzalez-Rugama was said to have brown eyes and brown hair, possibly colored red. She is approximately five feet one inch tall and weighs 136 pounds.

The teenager was last spotted sporting a pink shirt, blue trousers, and white shoes. She is new to Wilmington and the city of Los Angeles.
