After authorities discovered the body of a 14-year-old girl who had gone missing this week by a river in Minnesota, an 18-year-old guy from North Dakota is currently being held.

After Jaelyn Walker was reported missing the night before, Moorhead Police Department detectives found her remains on Tuesday, August 20. Police say they found Walker’s body along the Red River, according to KSTP-TV.

Following multiple sharp force injuries, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Walker’s death was a homicide.

Officers determined that Isaac Arndt was the main culprit. He supposedly knew the victim, they said.

On Monday, Aug. 19, the police tracked down two different drivers who had taken Arndt to various locations. Arndt’s hometown is Fargo, North Dakota, so that was the first ride. The Moorhead Police Department was the destination of the second ride.
