The arrests of multiple teenagers during a Saturday night operation that targeted intersection takeovers were made public by Miami-Dade police on Sunday.
Specifically, one of the arrests was related to a takeover in Miami near the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and 2nd Street.
Billy Rodriguez, 21, is charged with pulling out risky antics at the crossroads on Sunday morning at around 2:00 a.m. According to the police, he is the driver who was seen doing donuts while a crowd gathered to watch.
Rodriguez faces charges related to drag racing and careless driving. The 20-year-old Rodney Brissete was additionally accused of dangerous driving and drag racing.
In the meantime, 18-year-old Kevin Ramosguadarramas was taken into custody on suspicion of reckless driving and eluding authorities.
Additionally, 18-year-old Jarosla Legenzov was detained for aggravated escape, trying to elude law enforcement following an accident, injury, or damage, third-degree grand theft of a vehicle, and resisting an officer without using physical force against him.
Two kids were also taken into custody during the weekend raids, according to Miami-Dade police. In total, the MDPD reported six arrests, 29 citations, three seized cars, one seized firearm, and one recovered stolen vehicle.
