Following the drawing on Tuesday night, when no ticket matched the winning numbers, the Mega Millions jackpot increased to an estimated $740 million.

Tuesday’s winning numbers, which included a Mega ball of nine, were 12, 41, 43, 52, and 55. 4X was the Megaplier.

Tuesday night’s estimated $681 million jackpot went unclaimed, but two players—one from Kansas and the other from Michigan—won $1 million each by matching all five white balls.

Players will try to win the estimated $740 million grand prize, which comes with a $366.3 million cash option, in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing. Should it be claimed on Friday, it would rank as the seventh-largest reward.

Instead of receiving the Mega Millions annuity, which is paid out as one lump sum plus 29 yearly installments, winners can choose to get the cash prize.

As per the game, there is a 1 in 302,575,350 chance of winning the overall reward.

A player from Illinois hit all six numbers to win the $552 million reward, the 10th-largest jackpot in the history of the game, on June 4, the final time the Mega Millions jackpot was won.
